Reading a Plot Before the Pencil
Sun path, prevailing wind, the neighbour's parapet. The site has already drawn half the house.

The Site as Curator
Every plot contains a series of invisible lines — sightlines to a distant tree, the angles of winter sun, the structural shadows of adjacent brickwork. We spend three days on site without drawing a single line, simply recording the movement of shadow.
